ScheduleOnce is a simple Web 2.0 service for scheduling group and virtual meetings. The service is specifically designed for scheduling those hard-to-schedule meetings with multiple time zones, many invitees and different calendar systems.
ScheduleOnce is based on a patent-pending scheduling engine that guarantees absolute scheduling accuracy across any combination of time zones and daylight saving changes. When scheduling meetings with ScheduleOnce you can rest assured that all invitees receive the correct time, anytime in the year and anywhere on the globe.

How does ScheduleOnce work?
Scheduling a meeting via ScheduleOnce is simple: First, the organizer decides whether to suggest a single time or to poll invitees for the optimal meeting time. Suggesting a single time is a one-step process which generates the meeting time in all attendee time zones.
Suggesting alternative meeting times is done in three steps:
1. The organizer sets the timeframe in which the meeting must take place. The organizer can then suggest times for the meeting, or ask the invites to do so.
2. ScheduleOnce generates a specific link for each meeting. Invitees use this link to indicate their availability for the organizer’s time suggestions, and possibly suggest additional times of their own.
3. Invitee replies are displayed to the organizer in the Replies page, where the organizer can easily select the most convenient time for the meeting.
Throughout the process, ScheduleOnce converts meeting times to each attendee’s time zone and automatically adjusts for any daylight saving changes, making sure all attendees receive the absolute correct time.

Schedule the most complicated meetings with ease. ScheduleOnce can handle any type of meeting across any number of time zones and daylight saving changes; from the simple to the most complex, from group meetings to conference calls, face-to-face meetings, and events with many invitees.
ScheduleOnce supports multiple meeting scenarios. You can offer a single meeting time or suggest alternative times to your invitees:
• The organizer offers a single time is recommended when invitee availability is known and invitees are located in different time zones
• Only organizer suggests times: Is recommended when the organizer needs to poll the invitees, there are just a few possible time for the meeting and does not have too much flexibility
• Only invitees suggest times: Is recommended when the organizer needs to poll the invitees and has lots of flexibility to meet at different times
• Both organizer and invitees suggest times: Is recommended when the organizer needs to poll the invitees, it is very hard to find a meeting time and we want to keep all options open

What is the relationship between ScheduleOnce and online calendars?
Calendars were designed for managing a schedule (noun) and not for managing the scheduling (verb) process. The simple meeting invitation feature in calendars can only support the scheduling process in a very narrow set of cases. ScheduleOnce complements calendars by providing full support for the scheduling process, acting as a coordinator and mediator between the different calendars.
