High availability by design
To reduce the risk and consequences of hardware failure, we have a fully redundant architecture and protective measures against environmental risks and disasters. Our databases are configured with real-time mirroring and load balancing to allow for swift failover. We have a comprehensive monitoring and notification system, which ensures we are rapidly made aware of any deterioration in system performance or availability. Incident identification and response
All employees are periodically trained to identify and respond to downtime incidents in the most efficient and effective way possible. Issues are escalated to the appropriate personnel and our incident response team handles the issue until resolution is achieved. Incident details and lessons learned are recorded in reports, which are reviewed by management to continually improve our processes and response times.
No matter how prepared we are, the unexpected could happen. To guarantee peace of mind, all databases are backed up daily and full system backups are performed weekly. Backups are saved offsite and can be swiftly restored when needed. We have a standby virtual server, which if needed, can replace our production environment at a separate location. In the event of a disaster, we have a disaster recovery plan to restore the data and critical services. Our disaster recovery plan is robust and is tested periodically for suitability and efficiency.
