To help meet our goal of universal design, we follow internationally recognized best practices.

An inclusive design approach

At ScheduleOnce we believe in and operate according to the principles of universal design. We make it our top priority to ensure that your booking pages and master pages can be used by all people regardless of age, ability, or circumstance. Every design decision we make is done with accessibility in mind. From the page layouts we select, to inclusion of tooltips, we always consider equality and diversity.

Support for screen readers

Customers who are blind or visually impaired can schedule bookings thanks to our comprehensive support for screen readers. This functionality was developed and tested using JAWS® as a benchmark and other screen readers.

Support for keyboard-only usage

Bookings can be made all with just the use of a keyboard. ScheduleOnce offers keyboard equivalents for all actions that require a mouse. This is to accommodate for individuals with physical disabilities who may be experiencing permanent or temporary conditions that make it difficult for them to manipulate a mouse.

Support for customers with low vision and color blindness

Your customers with low vision and color blindness may have difficulty reading if display conditions are not optimal. In ScheduleOnce, we have consciously designed our booking pages and master pages with color schemes, contrast settings, and font sizes that are visually accessible to everyone. For example, the color contrast between the background and text is always kept at an optimal ratio, as per common best practices.
