Pooled availability

Pooled availability is a powerful feature that combines the availability of multiple team members and displays it to customers as a single booking calendar. When customers select a time, the booking is automatically assigned to the most appropriate team member, or alternatively, the customer can select a team member from those available at the selected time.

Pooled availability is not limited to team members. It can also be used with booking pages that represent team booking pages or resources.

Pooled availability with automatic assignment

With automatic assignment, customers select a time and the booking is automatically assigned to the most appropriate team member. Available assignment methods include round robin, priority-based assignment, or a combination of both.

Pooled availability with find by time


With find by time, customers select a time and see all team members available at that time. Find by time is useful when the selection of time is of greater importance to the customer than the selection of the team member.

  • Faster time-to-engagement: Since the customer is presented with the combined availability of the entire team, they are more likely to find a time that works for them sooner rather than later.
  • The customer remains in control: Unlike automatic assignment where the team member is automatically assigned, Find by time keeps the customer in control by allowing them to choose who they meet with.
  • Internal booking page: Appointment coordinators can select the event type and time preferred by a customer, see all qualified team members available at the chosen time, and make an informed decision as they select the right team member to meet with the customer.
